Hello world!
I am Lazy City Girl. My friends call me Kay (although I have a few special nicknames, which I won’t share here – at least not just yet).
I am a Korean Vancouverite (meaning someone who lives in Vancouver, BC – also known as one of the best cities to live in the whole wide world) and also a Yaletowner (meaning someone who lives in Yaletown in Vancouver – also known as one of the most trendy parts of Vancouver).
I am a trained engineer (I studied here for undergrad and here for graduate studies), a novice entrepreneur, and a long time blogger. Yes!!! I have been blogging since 2003 and I love blogging! However, I have been blogging mostly in my mother tongue.
I am lazy by nature although not all the time… or should I say, I am only lazy about certain few things: tidying up, cleaning, ironing…. etc. Things that I am not so lazy about are eating, shopping, sleeping…. etc. Well my main excuse of being lazy is that I work as a freelancer consultant (about 50 hrs a week) and am attending a business school for my third degree (about 20-30 hr a week).
Nonetheless, I love food: trying out different restaurants, tasting new and exotic dishes… I also like Cooking but cleaning I hate. Also I don’t like cooking a dish that requires dozens of different ingridients (well I am lazy). Here I would like to share quick, short, and simple recipes along with my Yaletown and Vancouver stories about restaurants and store visits and events.
I hope my stories be of interests to you as they to me.
By the way, I can be contacted at lazycitygirl at gmail dot com or you can follow me @lazycitygirl.

Hi Kay: Do you intend to blog about restaurants in future? Ben
Posted by Ben | January 9, 2011, 3:34 amHi Ben, definitely. That’s probably where I will be heading to more than cooking just because of my schedule.
Thanks for visiting.
